Teddy Bear Classroom complete with 6 teddy bears and classroom teacher in original box. Advertisement read; " A complete darling school of 6 pupil  bears and one teacher bear, Had large black board, desks, slates, etc. "  Teacher bear is yellow and is 4 1/2 " tall, small brown pupil bears are 3 1/4" tall. All bears are jointed. Classroom base is 9" x 8 3/4. Box is 10" x 9.

Phenomenal one of a kind tramp art chest on frame. The traditional chip carved decoration is applied to an a-typical salmon paper. Paper shows appropriate fading and wear. The dynamics continue from there with stacked chip carvings, highlighted in metallic tones of silver, copper, and green gold. the style and forms of decoration are worthy of note and consideration . Standard forms are punctuated by lollipops, pinwheels, fireman style badges, hearts, and pilsners. Your attention is drawn to center of the chest by a clock tower. Chest and frame are separate pieces and original to one another,. Interior of the chest is unusual and vertically slated, possibly to hold a variety of painted clock faced or glass plate photographic negatives. Originally found in a Pennsylvania farmhouse. Overall height 38" x overall width 39 1/2" depth 17 1/2".

C. 1820 New York State Mahogany drop leaf work table with delicate proportions; narrow square legs, D-shaped top and leaves. It has a bowed apron and waste drawer both in birds eye maple with inlay pin stripe and cross banded mahogany, drawer support having semicircular banding. Original lion headed brass knobs (1 knob missing) with shaped stretcher base( 2 minor stress fractures). 29" H x 18 1/2" D x 16" W-30" W with leaves up

   





 

Paul Huba collection. 19th c. probably ship doctors apothecary having 7 drawers surmounted by an oak cask, set in a beaded and scrolled arch. knobs and surface are original. Dovetailed carcas and drawers are constructed of mahogany with pine secondary wood. Overall H. 20 " x 11 1/4" at case. 5 3/4 D at case. Minor issues; stress crack in crest, fracture to cask face and 1 brass cask band. Glue block to support cask is missing.

19th c. 3 dimensional, 3 masted wooden ship diorama, rigged with wooden sails, staffed by 3 carved figures and armed with 2 stern deck cannons, sailing on painted plaster waters. Provenance, the estate of the late Paul Huba; avid sportsman, historian, collector, writer, and antiquarian. He was highly regarded as knowledgeable in a wide range of antique militaria, art, and related categories. This ship is from Paul's personal collection. He referred to the model as a Confederate Blockade Runner. It has a dust cover on a beveled oak base and measures, 19 3/4 L x 9" W x 14" H.

19th c. Child's Hobby Horse-early dapple blue/gray rocking
horse with original surface. Overall length is 37" rear foot to
the head, 61" rocker, 13" depth of base with a height of33"
One stirrup is missing and an old repair had been done to the
rocker. The tail is made from hemp and the mane is horse
hair.

19th. c. Cast Zinc Brahma Advertising Trade Sign with good old painted surface. It measures 15" wide horn to horn, 15" tall to the nose, and 14 1/2" deep. Provenance: Eastman Kodak purchasing executive.





 

18TH CENTURY OR EARLY 19TH CENTURY CARARA MARBLE URN-Commemorating the accomplishments and exploits of Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727). Sir Isaac was a great astronomer, scientist, inventor, and knight. He invented the first reflective telescope in 1668. Each side of the urn depicts different images from his life and career. Cherubs with a telescope, moon and stars, Trojan Warrior, and a radiant face with sun rays. Each extensively carved, with great details. The piece measures 30 1/2" in diameter x 25 1/2"  tall. The plinth is contemporary and made of cast stone and marble dust, measuring 18" tall. Estate fresh, this is truly a magnificent piece. $18,500.00
 

   

18TH CENTURY WROUGHT IRON SPONTOON POINT-wrought in two parts and threaded together. Two applied concentric rings, one having slipped from its original position. Horizontal bar that fits between hafting point and spear point is missing. Overall fine condition. Hard to find piece of American Revolutionary War Military Equipment. Measures 26 1/2" price
